       Community Foundation of Burke CountyThe Community Foundation in September of 2023 provided Brighter House with a Grant of $10,000 providing funding to purchase HIPPA compliant software for our members records and for billing purposes through Medicaid. Funds also enabled us to purchase QuickBooks for Non-Profits.

       Burke CountyBurke County partnered with Brighter House in directing a grant for a new mental health PSR program for the citizens of our County in the amount of $100,000. Our County Commissioners all supported our application but a special thank you to Johnnie Carswell and Scott Mulwee! Hugh Blackwell and Warren Daniels provided their support as well.

       North Carolina DHHSThe State of North Carolina through the office of NC DHHS in 2023 provided Brighter House with a grant of $105,000 for the development of a new mental health PSR program for Burke County. Hugh Blackwell and Warren Daniels were instrumental in helping secure this important funding.

        THE J. ALEX AND VIVIAN G. MULL FOUNDATION CHARITABLE FUNDTHE J. ALEX AND VIVIAN G. MULL FOUNDATION CHARITABLE FUND through the Community Foundation of Burke County provided Brighter House with a $6,196 grant toward the upfitting of our kitchen and food service unit. Thank you for all those involved. Our members have prepared over 400 meals thanks to this grant!

        The Rostan Family Foundation, IncThe Rostan Family Foundation Inc. provided us with assistance in the form of a grant for $7,000 which is providing important training to our Executive Director, Staff, Member and a Board Member so our PSR program with gain International Clubhouse Certification by 2025.
